The Partners
Andrea Abad first started her career as a Marketeer for large corporations such as Apple and Exxon Mobil. After a six years in the field, an introspective awakening pushed her to quit her profession and move to Australia where she lived in Permaculture communities while learning how humanity can be reintroduced into the cycle of nature. She moved to Ibiza to dive deeper into sustainable tourism where she has developed herself for the last five years.
Felipe Toro is a biologist, specialized in Agroecology and Regenerative Agriculture as he is convinced that an agricultural model that regenerates nature and produces quality food is possible. He has participated in the Planeses regenerative agriculture pilot project in northern Catalonia where he co-created a farming model that now serves as inspiration for farmers across Europe. He is a member of the Iberian Regenerative Agriculture network, where he has been able to draw on teachers in the field such as Luis Carlos Pinherio, Joel Salatin, Kirk Gadzia, Jairo Restrepo and Nacho Simón among others.
Joshua Andersen began his permaculture career in 2012. After viewing the film “Greening the Desert” featuring Geoff Lawton, Joshua launched straight into embodying what it was to “be a beneficial element” on this earth.
In 2019, Joshua studied under Geoff Lawton, Istvan Markuly, and Sam Parker-Davies and has since learnt from and worked with the world’s best in many fields across the permaculture world. Joshua has worked on many farm development and agroforestry projects throughout the Southeastern US and California.
Uri Fruchtmann has spent many successful years in the film industry producing and directing documentaries and feature films. He founded Fragile Films in 1995 and is the co-owner of Ealing Studios. As a human rights activist, he is on the board of several charities and he is the co-founder and chair of VIDERE, a cutting edge NGO which is revolutionising the fight for human rights around the world thorough the use of hidden cameras and digital technology.
